Best Private Bank in Mauritius for the third time
MCB Private Banking has won the “Best Private Bank in Mauritius” title, for the third time in four years, and for the second year in a row. This prestigious award was announced by Professional Wealth Management and The Banker, two publications of the Financial Times group during the Global Private Banking Awards night on 26 October at the Four Seasons Park Lane, in London. This year, the jury was composed of 16 eminent finance experts from around the globe.
This recognition vouches for the successful positioning of Mauritian as a major player, on the world scene, in terms of wealth management and private banking. MCB Private Banking’s strategic approach is to leverage on its expertise, rich experience and Mauritius’s strategic location – as a bridge between the African and Asian continents – and to thus further its expansion. Within MCB itself, this market segment is undergoing a notable and sustainable growth, mainly with regards to foreign clients.
MCB Private Banking is contributing to the strengthening of Mauritius’ position as a unique private banking and wealth management destination. This market segment is on the rise, particularly with a notable increase in the number of foreign clients.
MCB Private Banking is also building on its diversification approach and looping in new opportunities in sub-Saharan Africa. MCB’s representative offices in Johannesburg (South Africa) and Nairobi (Kenya) therefore play a key role in this context.
In its constant endeavour to offer services matching the evolving needs of its clientele, MCB has recently set up an International Personal Banking cell. Furthermore, portfolio management, real estate and premium services such as a conciergerie form part of MCB’s made to measure offers targeting local and international customers.
