 Hard work always pays

“The MCB foundation scholarship is above all a dream come true”, according to the young lady who has always had the ambition to pursue her higher education abroad. This prestigious scholarship, which allows her to study in another country, is also the fruit of many years of hard work, financial support and joy for all those who believed in her dreams.

Didier Harel, Chairman, MCB Group Ltd; ‘’We are fully aware that the education sector has undergone several changes with the pandemic. Students, their families, and teachers have indeed had to face quite challenging times. In this respect, MCB Group’s contribution to the field of education makes even more sense. Our commitment and contribution to education are in line with “Success Beyond Numbers,” our motto and sustainable development program. On top of the MCB Foundation Scholarship, we are also committed to continuing the MCB Rodrigues Scholarship, the Stock Exchange of Mauritius (SEM) Young Investor Award, and the 4-min science program co-hosted with the Rajiv Gandhi Science Centre. We firmly believe that such initiatives are quintessential in how we seek to make a lasting difference in the educational field. ‘’
